Who is responsible?

There is a great need for funding programs that will help those suffering from the disease of addiction get into recovery. This will inevitably greatly reduce opioid related deaths. There's also a need for educating doctors about overprescribing opioids. This funding can be obtained by holding the pharmaceutical companies who manufacture opioids and have pushed for overprescribing accountable and using settlement money to fund the programs needed to fix the problem they created. Spreading awareness and getting every community involved in helping to heal those in need is a huge responsibility to those of us affected by this horrible epidemic. An epidemic of epic proportions that has taken more lives than the Vietnam war. I am ready, willing and able...are you? Check out this article and let me know what you think about holding certain pharmaceutical companies accountable for the mess they created. It's OK to get help! #doitforshelby https://www.facingaddiction.org/news/2018/04/01/why-the-opioid-litigation-matters
