Money is the root of all evil

There are a multitude of reasons the Opioid Epidemic is still a looming presence over the people of our country; our continent. One of them being patient brokering. When treatment centers, sober living homes, Counselors and doctors cash in on those suffering from the disease of addiction instead of helping them on the road to recovery, it's a damn shame. 

People in need of treatment or a safe place to stay are trusting the treatment centers, the sober living homes and the doctors to help them. Those addicted persons are being taken advantage of for their insurance and they are dying as a result. 

The owners of this treatment facility started out with a legitimate desire to help those in need but were blinded by their love of money. We all know that money is the root of all evil.
