Warming Centers for harsh winter nights:

After Hours Warming Centers Deactivation- Memphis, TN
In anticipation of temperatures rising later this afternoon and this evening, after hour warming centers located at City of Memphis Community Centers will be deactivated and return to normal operating hours. Individuals seeking warm locations are encouraged to visit typical primary locations for warming centers which are usually malls, shopping centers, libraries, and local community centers that are opened during normal business hours.
The after hour warming centers will be closed at their normal times today.
Orange Mound Community Center- 2572 Park Avenue – 8:00pm
Gaston Community Center – 1048 S. Third Street – 8:00pm
Ed Rice Community Center – 2907 Watkins Street - 6:00pm
Those seeking overnight accommodations are encouraged to seek assistance from our partners at The Union Mission located at 383 Poplar Ave. or The Salvation Army located at 696 Jackson Ave.
