A safe haven?
This article describes a safe haven in which drug users can safely get high. These safe havens are working in other countries and I think it could work here. One thing: our culture and mindset is vastly different than those other countries where this service is actually helping. I want to believe this could work for America, but due to the diverse viewpoint of those in control, and the current epidemic with the killer fentanyl and carfentanil being added to certain drugs, I have my doubts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being a naysayer, just a practical thinker. What I want to know is does the safe haven provide the drugs or is it BYOD? If the safe haven supplies it and can monitor the purity of it, it could have a positive impact on this crises that is killing all of our people. Reading the caption under the photo, it says a man brought in his own drugs to shoot. Therefore, the medical staff running the safe haven have no idea what the purity is of said drug. Purity needs to be monitored because someone could come in with a deadly mix and kill everyone. Like I said, I'm not knocking it, but given the horrific killing power of fentanyl and carfentanil, I'd be a little leery. Read the article and think about it. #doitforshelby http://wreg.com/2017/08/08/report-reveals-underground-us-haven-for-heroin-drug-users/
